Canada

As the first Chinese telecommunications carrier to provide mobile communications services in Canada, China Telecom Americas officially launched their new mobile communication service, China Telecom CTExcel, in the country, in 2018.

China Telecom Canada has rolled out a number of service packages addressing needs of overseas students, Chinese residents, Chinese enterprises and travelers on short-haul trips to Canada. All of the service packages offer a super high-speed network, stable signal and value-added services such as unlimited domestic calls, unlimited international SMS messages, caller display, basic voicemail storage capacity, call waiting, conference calling, and timely data usage reminders. China Telecom CTExcel also provides unlimited international calls to Greater China (including Mainland China, Hong Kong(China), Macau(China), and Taiwan(China)), Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Users can also purchase one-card-multi-number services to receive a Canada mobile number and China mobile number within one SIM card. The China mobile number can be either automatically generated by the system or correlate with the users’ existing China Telecom e-surfing phone numbers. Callers can also enjoy domestic rates on calls from China to a Chinese mobile number, if the receiver is in Canada.

Moreover, China Telecom Canada offers free SIM card delivery to and from China and Canada, a 24/7 customer hotline (both in Chinese and English) as well as a free phone-number retaining service for users.
